Students Take Advantage of the UPSA Double Qualifications Programme.

Students who are seeking admission into the prestigious University of Professional Studies are asked to take advantage of the Double Qualifications programme run by the institution.

The programme is designed to assist students to acquire double qualifications while studying. This admonishment was made when management of the school engage some students of two High Schools.

This is how it works; students who enroll for undergraduate programme have the opportunity to offer professional courses as well. Courses run in this double qualifications programme includes; ICAG, ACCA, CIB, CIM, ICSA, CIMA, and many others.

All these are some professional programmes run as part of the measures to ensure student are awarded with double qualifications. This allows students to acquire both academic degree and chartered professional qualifications.

The double qualifications programme also creates an avenue for students to become ready for the job markets.

The Senior Assistant Registrar opined the entire double qualifications programme during a mentorship seminar. Mr Denis Attuaquayfio indicated the readiness of the UPSA to welcome the 2022 candidates undertaking their WASSCE examination soon.

The seminar was held at St. Aquinas Senior High and Aburi Girls Senior High. The Assistant Registrar told the candidates that UPSA prepares students to become globally competitive. Thus far, encourages students to advantage of the double qualifications programme.

Covid-19 Rising Again in Ghana

Amongst the speakers are Mrs Joyce Sackey and Mr Appiah Kubi Asante. They are all from the Academic Affairs Directorate and the institute of Professional Studies. Mrs Sackey and Mr Asante ran the students through the courses offers by UPSA and further stressed on the double qualifications programme.

A session was opened for participants and learners to ask questions about the double qualifications programmes. Also on anything that baffles their understanding.

The two events occurred on Wednesday and Thursday: 1 and 2 of June respectively. Some other benefits aside the double qualifications programmes are; students have access to exchange programmes, internships, and professional mentorship.
