The West African Examination Council has released the time-table for the 2022 BECE exams. The time – table released by the council is for both schools and private candidates.
Unlike the previous time –table, there have been some changes on the days and the subjects as well. The new time – table is scheduled to start on the 17th of October, 2022 which is Monday.
The old time –table has social studies beginning the exams. Though on the current one, social studies is first but changes have been made on the others.
Students are therefore advised to abreast themselves with this new time table brought out by the West African Examination Council. Getting to know the structure of the time – table allows a student to prepare adequately to sit the exams with confidence.
2022 BECE TIME TABLE
According to the West African Examination Council, the time –table it has brought out is the final one. Meaning candidates who are sitting for both the school and private BECE exams are entreated to take it with all seriousness.
Let’s take a look at the structure of the old time –table to know the changes which have been made by the WAEC. The Basic Education Certificate Exams is organized for Ghanaian students at the basic level. Pupils who attain form three are registered to sit for the exams.
Though Nigeria runs the same BECE exams but theirs is organized by the National Examination Council, a different examination body.

The previous one usually begins on Monday with Social Studies, Mathematics and BDT on Tuesday, English Language and RME on Wednesday, with Integrated Science and Ghanaian Language writing on Thursday and finally with information and communication Technology on Friday and that marks the end of the examination.
