KoboCollect’s Portal: All you need to know
The KoboCollect portal opens tomorrow for all schools in Ghana to capture their data. If you are a head teacher and haven’t captured your school’s data yet, this is the best time to do so.
Capturing your school’s data on the portal requires the knowledge of ICT hence head teachers who have less or no knowledge in IT should play a supervisory role for an IT staff to key in the data.
To use the KoboCollect portal to collect your school’s data, you have to first of all download the app using the keyword, “kobocollect”. Type this in the search button your browser to download it the app.
After downloading, a QR code has to be scanned to be able to access the portal. If you don’t have the QR code to scan, don’t worry we will try and leave one here for you to use so that you can as well open to the portal when it is opened tomorrow.

Note that every head teacher or IT staff have a period of 30 days to capture all data of his or her school. So meaning, as it opens tomorrow, it will be on till the 31 of July, 2022. By the end of the month everyone must have captured his/her school’s data and synched them as well.
Using the KoboCollect portal can sometimes be frustrating but we advise that you exercise patience to be able to go through the process. Another thing that counts much is the internet connectivity, so make sure you use a network whose internet connectivity is high.
As the portal opens tomorrow, expect that accessing information from it could take quite a longer time since many people will be sourcing the same information you are going to need. If you can, try to make good of the night but ensure the geo location of the school is taken right on the premises of the school and not more than five metres away.
Lastly, get to note that if you are in school where there is no internet connectivity, you can as well capture your data and synch them when you are able to access internet connection.
