Being in the final year class is always the wish of every student. This is so because it is the point where the bustling, the burning of the midnight candle comes to an end. But wait, being in the final year class can cost you your future.

The joy of being in the final year class is one in a million and that is true. We can all attest to such a fact as we have all for once being in the final year class and the experience was very awesome. It as this time where the unexpected happens, these unexpected things can sometimes cost us our future.
Now, let’s hit the nail right on its nail and that, by the time we are done going through this piece we would all become conscious on our steps. This will ensure that we don’t jeopardize our future simply because of these four things which have the cost the future of many others.

The first thing which cost you your future is the attitude of singing the same songs with your colleagues. There are many a time where learners believe teachers/facilitators hate them simply because they’ve been rebuked by the same teacher. Here, singing the same songs with your colleagues means throwing your weight behind them even when they are wrong. There are also times where the entire class would go against a particular teacher and even taking entrench positions. Some even go the extent of assaulting such teachers. Have in mind, doing such a thing can cost you your future, no teacher hates his/her students and it would be the last thing to be done. So don’t throw unnecessary support behind your friends when they go wrong and they happen to be criticized by a teacher.

Another thing which can as well cost you your education and future is when you become the target of a particular teacher on a bad note. This often happens when you had on a number of occasions sang the same songs with your friends who have done something wrong and were criticized by a teacher. It is very risky when you negatively become the target of a teacher. Such a teacher can refuse you all the necessary assistance you are supposed to be given. This can negatively affect your performance in you final year examination. The teachers are there to correct and to drive us onto the right path and so you shouldn’t for a sec think a teacher hates you.

Complacency is yet one thing the greatly cost us our education and future. Being a final year student, you may sometimes feel that you know it all and have every sense of direction as far as your stay in school is concerned. It is at this point that final year students get diverted from the good course they have spent years obtained. The so called good ones feel that they are good and without any assistance from anyone that can make it in their final examinations. Complacency can let a teacher or a facilitator develops hate for you and that can cost you your future. Rather, it is at this point you need to develop a strong bond with your teachers or facilitators so they can give every bit they have within.
Fourth
The dangerous among them is being associating with ‘hard guys’ on campus. Such groups are sometimes called ‘gangs’, these groups can lure you into whole lots of activities such as occultism, weed smoking, petty theft and later introduce you into robberies. These social vices can put your education at risk as well as your future.
