Failing exams has always been the last thing any student would want to imagine, yes, that is true. Not even the one who hasn’t adequately prepared wants to hear about exams failure. In fact, if would like to say is that one thing no student prays for as he/she goes into an examination room.

Just like any other task, we go into it with preparations and one can’t do away with preparations when it comes to exam. For example, a carpenter gets his tools needed for a certain task ready before undertaking it so as a student. Let assume you selected 10 topics for each subject, and about a month to the exams you haven’t covered three-quarter of them, just know the exams isn’t for you. This mostly happens due to improper timing oneself.
In the scenario used above, a carpenter who wants to construct a table and forgot to get his nails and glue; there is no way he could join the joints of the table. This is the situation I’m taking about, topics you have selected to learn to pass your exams, you haven’t gone through all, certainly failing the exams is 90% assures.

Another sign that tells that we will fail our exams is when you keep thinking about how you are going to pass the exams. This is happening because you have not done what point one says. Because you haven’t adequately prepared, a picture is always painted before you, this picture or signs are gloomy and dire. You are always filled with the fears of failure, and sometimes this degenerate into stress. I can’t tell you, the consequences of stress to a student preparing to sit for his/her exams are negative.
See this instance, just imagined being asked to give a speech in a public gathering and not knowing what you are going to say. Yeah! You get tensed, right? Presenting the same situation in the context of always thinking about how you are going to pass your exams will certainly put you in fears. Experiencing this tells you you’re going to fail the exams and you ought to work on it to avoid the dire effects.

Not knowing what to learn is one the greatest signs every student got to be identifying and correct it early. There are times you feel the time for the exams are ticking too fast and you become so obsessed. You don’t know which subject or topic to learn. It has become so because you failed to do what is stated in the first point which resulted into unnecessary thinking as point two stated. You make an attempt to learn a particular topic and you are struck by another topic which you haven’t learnt. You end up becoming confused, because the unlearnt topics keep tossing you up. When this happens just know you are on the way of failing your exams and something needed to be done urgently.

The last sign you should be on the alert to look out for is when you cannot solve more than five questions out of ten. At this point, just know the situation has become worst. This sign tells that you are not adequately prepared and that is a great sign of failing your exams. Once properly prepared you should be able to solve more than half of any number of questions you are given. This is one of the reasons why in Ghana, schools organize mock examination for students. This enables students to know how far they have gone with preparations and the extent they have to go.
