I Suspect Them, Kyei Mensah Blames NDC for What Happened at His Constituency

The long term member of parliament for the suame constituency has allegedly fingered the NDC. The MP who was hooted by some members of his constituency saying the NDC are responsible for what happened last Monday.

Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu commented on the incident indicated that, the hooting was not directed at him. But he believes it is directed towards the entire government machinery.

He also made a case that, there may be some members who are behind this. This is basically because they (the NDC members) were not ready to listen to him as a result, decided to hoot at him.

The scene captured during the day found some members of his constituency pelting water at the MP. This was when he had paid a visit to his people and to also ascertain for himself the nature of roads within the constituency.

Mr Kyei Mensah Bonsu asserted that, his constituents were reporting their grievances to him for onward dissemination to the president. This, he said, one cannot say the actions of the people was meant for him since majority of the complaints were from people outside his constituency.

Despite all these he still of the firm believe that the opposition is to blame for this.

He took the opportunity to state that government has done a lot of work and it is the role of the communicators to disseminate them across. He emphatically stated that the communicators of the party should ensure that all government projects are brought to the attention of the people

Here are few comments made by the MP

“There is an NDC group behind the Post office area and I believe that the third group that came, we met and they said they were not ready to listen to any government official and that the NPP has disappointed them and so on. I think that group was led by our opponent.”

Despite the current economic outlook, he believes the NDC are responsible for what happened last Monday.
