AVOID THESE THINGS WHEN CREATING PAYPAL ACCOUNT

These women have averred strongly to vote against the NPP government. This is because the NPP government is doing all what it could to disenfranchise them in the upcoming 2024 elections.

As indicated by the market women, they borrow money and contract loans from banks to undertake their activities. The majority of the stuffs they sell are perishable; leaving them behind is not possible since they will go bad. That is a huge lost to them, hence their ultimatum to the President and the NIA.

As a result, they have issued strong ultimatum to the President and NIA. They want as a matter of importance to set up registration centres in the markets for them. This will ease the struggle and the burden on them by not leaving their stuffs behind.

This report was first made by Onua TV when reporters were sent to various markets within the Accra Metropolis to have their take on the new EI drafted by the Electoral Commission.

One woman who is a fish monger at the Kaneshie market suggested that registration centres be dotted in all markets across the country.

Personalities who have commented on the use of the Ghana card for the 2024 election.

Dr Afari Gyan, the then Electoral Commissioner indicated that, any attempt to use the Ghana card for the elections will disenfranchise many eligible Ghanaians. This is because many people have not been able to register for the Ghana card and cautioned that they should not use only the Ghana card.

The General Secretary of the main opposition party has also said the EC’s intentions to use Ghana card will side-line many Ghanaians from voting. He went further to quote the claims made by the NIA Boss, that; about 2 million people have still not being registered. So the EC cannot use only the Ghana card as the main source document for any elections related matters.

He took the opportunity to state the readiness of the NDC to honour IPAC meetings call by the EC if there will be treated fairly.

Commenting on the issues raised by the market women, Yaa Titi of Onua TV said the government is so insensitive to the plights of Ghanaians. Other than that, the calls made by these market women are in the right direction.

Just like the market women, she affirmed that leaving the market for a day will mean their families will go hungry. Their daily activities in the market is what put food on the tables of their husbands, children and families at large.
