Aburi Girls’ Robotics Club Appeals for $30,000 to Represent Ghana at Global Robotics Competition
Please share to reach many so they can be helped to make them honour this competition. Just like they did last year, they will surely make us proud.
This will be from the period between October 13 and 16 this year. The attention will be on the major challenges facing the world, which have to do with education, security, medicine, water, food and climate change.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the real global community on dealing with the issues of carbon dioxide emission and the effect on environment. They will also take a look at some technologies which have already been developed to help shape the planet in the future.
As a result the robotics club at the Aburi Girls’ are calling for support to be able to attend this First Global Competition in Switzerland.
Aburi Girls’ Robotics Club
All these were raised by the Patron of the robotics club at Aburi Girls’ who is in the person of Philip Yaw Donkoh on Citi TV’s Morning show.
It should be noted that during the 2021 competition, the Aburi Girls’ placed second for project made alongside with Belarus on Health solutions.
Ghana placed 36th from 170 nations that participated in the 2021 competition. The themed of the competition was, “Discover and Recover”.
This gives a clue that with the right attention and the needed financial support, the Ghanaian chapter will excel in upcoming competitions.
I call on all well-meaning Ghanaians who are endowed to go in to support Aburi Girls’ Senior High so they can partake in this year’s Global Competition being held in Geneva.
Thanks.
