Kwadaso offers Diploma programme in general Agriculture. The institution is located in the Ashanti Region, Kumasi Kwadaso. The Kwadoso Agricultural College started its operations in the year 1952 with an affiliate to Ghana’s premium University of Cape Coast. The college offers different programmes ranging from certificates to diplomas. Entry Requirements

Entry requirement for admission into Kwadaso Agricultural College. General admission (entry) requirements for diploma and certificates programmes

For entry into the college, WASSCE/SSSCE applicants must have passes in the core subjects. These include; English, integrated science, and mathematics.
Applicants must also have passes in any three of the subjects run at the second cycle institutions; chemistry, biology, general agricultural and physics or elective mathematics.
The minimum aggregate obtained by applicants should be 36/24 or better. This is for those applying to offer diploma courses
Those applying for certificates programmes should have a minimum aggregate of 30.
Students in the final year of Senior High Schools must apply. You should wait for your results before applying. Unlike other institutions where students awaiting results can apply.
Intermediate City and Guilds Certification in Agricultural Mechanics with credits in four subjects.

Note: if you are applying to read a diploma programme, graduate after three years with a Diploma in General Agriculture while the certificates readers graduate after two years.

Animal Health College offers diploma in animal health. They basically train veterinary assistants and laboratory technicians. This is targeted at improving and supporting the health needs of livestock and poultry.
Ejura Agricultural College can be considered when looking for a Agric college. Aside these Agricultural colleges, there are some other farm institutes or Agricultural Vocational Training Institutes at Wenchi, Adidome ans Asuansi which run similar programmes. From the campuses of the individual Agricultural college
The ministry of food and agriculture, human resources development and management directorate, Accra.
Office of regional agricultural directorate across the 16 regions.
You can also get forms from all regional and district post offices across the country.

When to apply

Usually the sale of application forms commences around December and January. You could buy your forms by Banker’s Draft payable to The Director Human Resources Development and Management Directorate MOFA, Accra.

Note that all programmes run by these colleges are pegged with the ones offer by the Cape Coat University.

The Pong Tamale Heath and Production (Veterinary) College has an administration block, some farm machinery, students’ hostel

Ohawu Agric College has solar drier used for drying seeds, a mechanized centre for the repairs of machineries, sailors, lecture halls and same applicable to the others, and that of Kwadaso Agricultural College.
