National Standardised Test (2022): NaCCA’s 10 Points Guidelines to both Public and Private School
The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has issued 10 points guidelines to all public and private schools. These guidelines are provided to guide all schools over the conduct of the National Standardised Test.
These 10 Points guidelines came after a meeting held among the Technical Working Group. This was to discuss issues relating to how the 2022 edition of the National Standardised Test is going to be organized across the country.
“The Technical Working Group (TWG) for the National Standardised Test (NST) 2022 on Friday 30 September, 2022 have concluded their preliminary discussions on 2022 NST
The following are the Key points from the meeting
- It anticipates the participation of both public and private schools in the 2022 P2 and P4 NST
- The NST seeks to assess the learning attainment of the child so that, where there are gaps the appropriate interventions can be instituted for positive outcomes

- All children shall be given an index number based on the unique EMIS code generated from the data submitted. The schools that have not submitted their EMIS DATA 2022 are advised to do so by using this link

- The cost of the Test which is subsidized by government shall be borne by the respective private schools
- The subsidized price per child is GHC34.00 and GHC38.00 for P2 and P4 respectively
- It must be noted however that, this is optional to Private Schools and does not include their internal Administrative Charges
- Payments for the P2 and PA NST would be paid through a designated NaCCA accounts ahead of the Test
- Thirty-five thousand 3500) Test Administrators are expected to be engaged by NaCCA from Public and Private Schools
- Regional Coordinators, Chairmen, Directors would be expected to play a major role in ensuring the success
- The Test would be conducted largely in the schools except in hard to reach areas which would be brought to a convenient centre
All schools are expected to treat this information with the needed urgency because of the brevity of time”
