In order to reduce the burden students and their parents have to go through during the selection of schools into SHSs, a new strategy has been rolled out. This new strategy is to guide students or parents whose wards are sitting for the 2022 BECE exams to easily select their preferred choice of schools.
According to the Education Ministry, video has been put together to assist students and parents on the selection of schools into SHSs. This is will be accessible to all candidates and the general public as well,
For those who have access to smartphones and internet access can watch the video on www.freeshs.net , alternatively the video can be watch and listen on various television and radio stations respectively.
This video will be made available to both BECE candidates and parents from the 24 to 29 October, 2022. As soon as it ends, parents will have the opportunity go through the demonstration starting 31 October to 18 November.
When all these are done, then the selection of schools into SHSs will begin.

Meanwhile, the Basic Examination is scheduled to begin on Monday, 17 October and ends on the 21.
