Impressive! Ghana Police equipped with device that retrieves real time data from Ghana Card
In a bit to beef up our digitalization drive, the Ghana police service receives mobile devices that retrieve data in real time.
This is aim at picking data of persons who come in contact with the police service.

The Mobile devices have been aligned with the National Identification Authority; as a result can access data of individual from the Ghana Card in real time.
As we get into festivities, the security of the country will be the highest priority, so these devices couldn’t have come at any better time.

Drivers and other individuals can be accessed using the new Mobile devices. Don’t be surprised if from this time, the MTTD asks for your Ghana card. This is one of the efforts to ensure the safety of us all.
According to the Vice President, Dr Mahammud Bawumia, the value of these Data Retrieve Devices cost at USD2million. This was revealed when handing over the equipment to the Ghana Police service.
