As followers of Christ, it is important for us to actively engage in our faith and not simply be passive church goers. Unfortunately, it is all too easy to fall into a routine of just showing up to service on Sunday mornings without truly allowing God to work in and through us.
However, there are several verses in the Bible that can serve as a wakeup call and encourage us to be more intentional and purposeful in our walk with God. Here are three powerful verses for those who may be feeling a bit too comfortable in their faith:
