25 Physics Questions for WASSCE Candidates and SHS Students. Physics Questions for WASSCE Candidates and SHS Students
Thanks for always reading our contents, we appreciate. This is yet, another valuable question you want to spend time on. Practice, they say, makes perfection. The only time you could get to the heights is when you give in your all. As a result, we constantly bring to you valuables contents that will propel you in attaining this height.
In this article, we shall be taking a look at some simple physics questions for WASSCE candidates. Of course, it is useful for all high school students. Even if you are in the junior high and you can relate, do try your hands on.
In all, there are 25 of them. Do spend some time on each of them; 20 written questions and five calculations on selected physics topics. You can consult your teachers or colleagues on areas you have difficulties with.

Well, once you have combed through the questions, you may want to compare your answers with ours. We don’t encourage looking at the answers before you lay your hands on our questions.
- Force is a push or pull on an object. Momentum is the product of an object’s mass and velocity.
- The law of conservation of momentum states that the total momentum of a system remains constant unless an external force acts on the system.
- Potential energy is energy stored in an object due to its position or state. Kinetic energy is energy of motion.
- The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of a system remains constant unless an external force acts on the system.
- Work is done when a force moves an object a distance. Power is the rate at which work is done.
- Torque is a force that causes an object to rotate. Angular momentum is the product of an object’s moment of inertia and angular velocity.
- The law of conservation of angular momentum states that the total angular momentum of a system remains constant unless an external torque acts on the system.
- A projectile is an object that is thrown or launched into the air and moves under the force of gravity.
- The range of a projectile is the horizontal distance it travels before it hits the ground.
- The maximum height of a projectile is the highest point it reaches before it falls back down.
- A wave is a disturbance that travels through a medium, such as air or water.
- There are three types of waves: transverse waves, longitudinal waves, and surface waves.
- The speed of a wave is determined by the properties of the medium through which it is traveling.
- The wavelength of a wave is the distance between two consecutive crests or troughs.
- The frequency of a wave is the number of waves that pass a point in a given amount of time.
- The amplitude of a wave is the distance from the midline to a crest or trough.
- Interference is the phenomenon that occurs when two or more waves overlap and combine to form a new wave.
- Diffraction is the bending of waves around obstacles.
