2023 BECE Marking Date, Release Date and How to Check it
The 2023 BECE which was held on the 7 to 11th of August is set to be marked. The basic education exam is conducted by the West African Examination Council yearly to ensure a smooth transitioning of students from the basic into the second cycle institutions.
Since the completion of the exam, WAEC has been up to task to get the scripts marked and results released. Information revealed by Ghana Education indicated that, come 4th October, all chief examiners of WAEC will be meeting. This will pave way to discuss the marking scheme that will be used to mark the scripts.
Three days later, which is 7th October commencement of the marking process will begin and it scheduled last until the 23 of October.
From all indications, November will be used for the compilation of results and everything that matters as far as the results are concerned and finally results released in last November or middle of December, 2023.
How to check 2023 BECE Results
Now when the results are released, the following are the step you will use to check your results.
- Anyone who wants to check his BECE results, click here or log onto https://eresults.waecgh.org and follow the guidelines below to check it.
- Buy your WAEC scratch card and proceed by following the guidelines below
- Upon logging onto the WAEC portal, enter your index number
- Re-enter the index number to confirm the earlier one inputted
- Select the exams type, the BECE School or private. Since the concentration is on BECE, choose BECE School that is if you didn’t sit for private BECE. If you sat for the exams as a private candidate, select BECE private
- Enter exam year
- Enter the serial number on the scratch card you bought
- Enter the PIN on the scratch card.
- Be sure to check the capture box and click submit.
- Wait a few seconds to see your results
