Since assuming office on January 7, 2016, the current government has prioritized STEM education for students. Through the Ministry of Education and the Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, several STEM senior high schools have been established to cater to this need. While some of these schools were built from the ground up, others were integrated into existing institutions.
