Private BECE School Selection Portal Opens: Use The Link in the Content To Select Schools
The 2023 Schools Selection for candidates from respective private and public schools just ended. It is time for those who sat for the private BECE to do so. The private BECE was written alongside the schools BECE.
If you wrote this year’s BECE as a private candidate, kindly read through the article and select your preferred senior high schools.
In a letter issues by the Ghana Education Service, indicated that the portal for the selection of schools for the private candidate has been open.

The management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to inform you that the school selection was opened by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) for both schools and private candidates to enable them to select their schools online.
Private BECE candidates are to visit https://www.waecinternetsolution.org to select their second cycle schools using their Index number and date of birth a login ID and password respectively.
By this letter, Regional Directorates are kindly requested to communicate this information to the Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education to ensure effective supervision and monitoring for the successful completion of te exercise within the stipulated time.
Procedure for the Private BECE School Selection
Continue reading to know how you can select your preferred SHS and courses. Follow strictly the steps below to select your schools.
Please note the steps below carefully,
- Click here or visit the website https://www.waecinternetsolution.org
- Once the site is opened, enter your BECE index number as your login ID
- Put in your date of birth as your password
- Click on the login button to continue with the process
- Once the next page is opened, choose and enter schools, accommodation, programme of choice. Be sure to fill out relevant portions required.
- If you ar done, do well to check for any possible mistakes or errors.
- Finally, click on the submit button
