WAEC has released the results of candidates whose results were withheld for alleged irregularities during the conduct of the examination.
The provisional results which were released on the 9th November, had 180 Junior High School candidates and 4 private candidates have been withheld for suspected offences, and the entire results of 110 school candidates and 2 private candidates have also been withheld
Fast forward, all of such results which were withheld, following the conclusions of investigations into the matter have been released. Candidates who were affected should follow the steps below and check their results here. Make sure to buy your WAEC results checker first and you do that on your mobile money, follow the steps below;
How to check your WAEC Results Checker to Check BECE Withheld Results
To check your 2023 BECE results follow the following steps.
The first thing to do is to buy your WAEC card and this can be bought from MONIcliq, which is a third party that sells WAEC cards online.
- You can do this on your phone by dialling the USSD code *170#,
- Select option 2 (MOMO pay),
- Then option 2 (pay bill)
- And then option 5 (General payment).
- Type the payment code as MONIcliq, submit and enter the amount (16 cedis per card),
- Type BECE as the reference of the transaction.
- Put in your MOMO pin to approve the transaction and
- You will receive your code via SMS
How to check your BECE Withheld results in a simple way
1 Visit the https://eresults.waecgh.org
- Enter your 2022 BECE Index Number.
- Re-enter the Index Number to confirm it is correct
- Select Examination type (BECE)
- Enter Examination year (2023)
- Enter the Serial Number on the result checking voucher
- Input the PIN on the result checking voucher
- Tick the ‘I am not a robot’ box and
- Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes but it’s worth the wait
If you check and yours is still withheld, kindly have some patience as WAEC is working around the clock to have all results of candidates released. You can check back next week Wednesday.
