UPDATE: 2023 SHS Placement Date Revealed, Check it
An official from the CSSPS Secretariat, responsible for releasing the school placement of BECE candidates, has announced the placement release date. 2023 SHS PLACEMENT: You Won’t Be Placed in Any SHS If You Have These Grades in Mathematics and English
The 2023 BECE for School Candidates took place across 2,137 examination centers, with an additional 15 centers used for the BECE for Private candidates. A total of 600,714 candidates participated in the BECE for School Candidates, with 300,323 boys and 300,391 girls from 18,993 Junior High Schools. The BECE for Private Candidates recorded an entry figure of 1,743 candidates, comprising 889 males and 854 females.
The placement process is based on six subjects, and students with an aggregate of 9 in English Language or Mathematics will not qualify for placement. The school placement portal has been upgraded to handle a large amount of visitor traffic.
Released Date for the SHS Placement
The CSSPS has revealed it will release the much anticipated 2023 SHS Placement on Friday. All candidates who sat for the 2023 edition of the exams can check their school using the link below.
