This short piece contains list of medical and dental institutions in Ghana. If you are interested in getting into the revered practice of medicine, then one of these schools should be on your decision list.

In accordance with the Council’s Regulation mandate under part II of the Health Professional Regulatory Bodies Act, 2013 (Act 857), Council wishes to notify the public about the institutions that have been recognized to train Medical and Dental Practitioners in Ghana and the corresponding accredited programmes of study as;

University Of Ghana Medical School – Offers Regular Medical Programme and Graduate Entry Medical Programme (GEMP)
University of Ghana Dental School, Accra – programmes run include; Regular Dental Programme.
KNUST School of Medicine and Dentistry, Kumasi. Programmes include Regular Medical Programme and Regular Dental Programme
UDS School of Medicine and Health Science – Tamale, runs Regular Medical Programme.
UCC School of Medical Sciences – Cape Coast and programmes include: Regular Medical Programme, Graduate Entry Medica; Sciences.
University of Health and Alied Sciences – H0; Programme run by institution is Regular Medical Programme.
